Kitkat PecsonChicken Tinola and thoughts on Etiquette
❤️🔥 I grew up eating Filipino food with a fork and spoon, the traditional way. I used to feel bad when others insisted that the “proper” way is with a fork and knife. Now I reply: a Filipino would never serve you a tough, chewy dish! Our food is tender and often pre-cubed or sliced. Besides, it’s way more practical to carve into a chicken leg or scoop rice with a spoon.

👉🏼 PS: Of COURSE I eat with a fork and knife, or chopsticks, whatever the restaurant/host provides. And I happily set the table with a fork and knife for my non-Filipino guests.
